Megatherm has supplied more than 2500 Induction melting furnaces and completed two dozen turnkey projects in India and abroad for mini-steel plants which includes supply of Induction Melting furnace, Ladle Refining Furnace and CCM which needs close coordination with the Rolling Mill manufacturer. Latest addition to the product is on- line Induction heating of Billets which can raise temperature of Hot Billets upto 150-250 0C for better finished Mill products.

Setting up a new project demands huge amount of insight and foresight. A turnkey project is not supply of just the equipment on order, but quite a lot more than that which includes, and is not limited to, designing choreography of the entire plant for smooth material movement to selection of right equipment required for the plant and even indicating the type of manpower and man-hours required to execute the project.

Project kick off is initiated at the site and indicating optimum space that would be required for setting up the plant. After assessment of the soil test report, civil layout and shed drawings are generated. Megatherm Projects Team engineers constantly engage with the customer and site visit is conducted to supervise the civil work. Auxiliary equipment is outsourced from the “best source” available in the industry with an unbiased approach and professionalism of the highest standards keeping in mind the welfare of the project at large. Necessary care is taken to ensure compliance with all statutory norms of the local industry and steer the project.

Megatherm provides two types of solutions. Full turnkey includes design to execution of the entire plant. Semi-turnkey includes design of the plant and/or supply of critical machinery and equipment like Induction Furnace, Continuous Casting Machine, Ladle Refining Furnace, Fume Extraction System, Water Complex, Electrical Breakers, Transformers, Material Handling Equipment, etc.
