LRF TRANSFORMER
This type of transformer has a high input voltage viz. 11 kV, 20 kV, 33 kV, etc., and has to deliver high current ranging from 10 kA to 60 kA with lower voltage (e.g. 100 Volts to 300 Volts). As the controlling of arc length is the main criterion of ladle refining furnaces, these transformers have to sustain high short circuit stress during operation. As per customers’ requirements, all types of LRF transformers are manufactured by Megatherm.
